Pack 56 is one of the oldest and largest Scout Packs in Minneapolis.
The Cub Scout program is for boys entering 1st – 5th Grade.
DATE: Monday, September 15th
TIME: 7pm-8pm (1 hour Session)

Pack 56 Rocket Night!

The rockets will fly on Sunday August 24, at the Lake Nokomis soccer fields. For the past few years, Cub dad David Boucha has run the annual August event that lets Cubs launch rockets skyward. David brings tons of different rockets and sets up an elaborate launch site. This gets the boys pretty excited. Please mark your calendar for this great event. Launches start at 6:00pm. Scouting for Food 2008 results

Thanks to everyone who came out to deliver grocery bags and pick up food for our needy neighbors. Sabathani Community Center was greatful for the contributions.
The total weight of collected food was 1463 pounds. Individual tallies were:
Den 2 275 lbs
Den 3 246 lbs
Den 5 431 lbs
Den 6 385 lbs
Den 10 126 lbs

Pack 56 Webelos get "the experience"

Ten boys from from Dens 1 and 5 participated in the biannual "Webelos Experience" event held October 6 at Stearns Camp.
The boys arrived under a menacing sky full of distant thunderstorms, but things soon cleared and the camp was dry and cool. The boys played fun field games and visited stations throughout the camp where they learned about everything from vintage guns to search and rescue dogs, to radio-controlled aircraft and military vehicles. Blacksmith operations were on display the boys had an opportunity to meet requirements for almost every activity pin.
